Chirp No. 13 - GEHRY
Chirp No. 13 - GEHRY
Canadian-American architect Frank Gehry’s early deconstructive architecture serves as inspiration for this post modern avian dwelling. His fragmented architectural forms are characterized by various materials and textures and their bold shapes create unique sculptural architecture and unconventional interior spaces.
In a deconstructive design style a continuous textured roof form breaks apart and folds into itself. The upper section rips open to reveal an organic shaped entry hole as the lower section folds back into the main body of the birdhouse.
