SLATE
The Cutting Board That’s Rock-Solid (But Knife-Friendly)
Your kitchen deserves a cutting board that works as hard as you do—without looking like it lost a battle to your chef’s knife. Enter Slate, the cutting board that’s tough as stone but far kinder to your blades. Crafted from premium maple hardwood (preferred by professional chefs), it’s inspired by the rugged elegance of natural slate—minus the weight, rough edges, or the risk of chipping your knife (or your enthusiasm for cooking).
Designed for both seasoned chefs and enthusiastic home cooks who just watched one too many cooking shows, Slate provides a sturdy, durable surface for chopping, slicing, and dicing your way to culinary greatness. And thanks to its sleek, timeless design, it won’t just sit there—it’ll elevate your whole kitchen aesthetic.
Whether you’re prepping a gourmet meal or just dramatically mincing garlic for the fun of it, Slate has your back. Because even the simplest of recipes deserve a cutting board that looks (and performs) like a masterpiece.

Use: Before your Slate cutting board gets to work, give it a little love. Season it with food-grade mineral oil to keep it looking fresh and performing at its best. To properly season, warm the mineral oil slightly (think cozy, not boiling) and apply it in the direction of the wood grain with a clean, dry cloth. Let it soak in, then repeat the process for that extra touch of TLC. Once it’s all soaked up, let the board dry and wipe off any excess oil. Your Slate will thank you.
Care Guide:
1 - Hand-wash only. Give your Slate a good scrub with hot, soapy water, and dry it thoroughly. No dishwashers this board prefers a more personal touch.
2 - No soaking. Your Slate cutting board isn’t a sponge, so keep it out of the water. A quick rinse is all it needs.
3 - Moisturize just like you. Slate gets dry sometimes. Every now and then, rub it down with food-safe mineral oil to keep the wood hydrated and happy.
4 - Sanitize. Give your board a quick refresh by washing with a mix of one part vinegar to five parts water. Your Slate will be sparkling clean and ready for the next meal prep.
5 - Odor removal. To banish any lingering smells, rub your board with kosher or table salt and half a lemon. Let it sit for 2–3 minutes, then wipe clean with a damp cloth. Dry off with a paper towel and let the Slate air-dry, standing up like a true pro.
6 - Store properly. Keep your Slate in a dry place, away from extreme temperatures. No need to expose your board to heatwaves or the freezer just a nice, cozy spot.
