Our mission for this endeavor has three objectives; the first is to create beautiful dwellings for our avian friends, second is to donate to charities which help protect endangered animals, and third is to promote parents and their kids to work on projects together. This division of three also applies to how we plan to distribute revenue we make from this project in the form of three S’s. 1/3 of our sales we’ll Spend on maintaining and growing our business, 1/3 we plan to Save for a college fund, and 1/3 we’d like to Share with charities who help protect endangered animals.

Spend

Even though this little venture started out as a small project, we are treating it like a small business. Every business has overhead and expenses, and ours are not insignificant. In addition to a great deal of time going into this venture, there are cost associated with developing designs, materials, construction, shipping and not to mention marketing to get the good word out!

So to deal with all this, we hope to tighten our belt and keep our overhead low, so we can use 1/3rd of our revenue in paying for these expenses, and hopefully grow our little venture into a Fortune 500 company! JK :-)

Save

Just like Mina’s little piggy bank on her dresser which is getting filled up with loose change, one of our drivers for doing this project is to save some money for her future. As today’s parents know, nurturing our kids and preparing them for their future is not a cheap endeavor. If some kids choose to continue to higher education, the costs are even more daunting.

So, as a lesson for Mina in preparation for her future dreams, we hope to save 1/3rd of our profits for a college fund, so not only she learns about the importance of saving, but can be a bit more prepared for life after high school.

Share

Our mission also includes helping charitable groups who are doing their part in protecting the environment and the animals who share this planet with us. Earth is their home too, and we feel a great sense of responsibility in helping them survive, so Mina and her fellow classmates can grow to see today’s endangered species, thrive in the future.

To this end, we plan to donate 1/3rd of our profits to organizations such as the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), so they can do what they do best. We hope you help us with this effort by buying one of our unique birdhouses!
